Chronicle of Innsmouth: Curse of Chaos is a Lovecraftian point’n’click graphic adventure that plunges you into the depths of cosmic horror. Set in 500 AD Oman, the third chapter of the saga draws inspiration from H.P. Lovecraft’s most enigmatic tales, such as The Nameless City and Nyarlathotep, in a thrilling investigation that will test the limits of your sanity.
You play as Rabian, a brilliant but introverted scholar of the Library of Athens, forced to return to his hometown of Kabar to uncover the truth behind his father’s disappearance many years before. At his side is Canus, a gifted, morally ambiguous colleague with whom Rabian shares a complicated past.
What begins as a reluctant homecoming soon spirals into a nightmare. Rabian becomes entangled in the schemes of an ancient cult devoted to forgotten deities, whose rituals aim to summon Yog-Sothoth, the Key and the Gate, and open a passage for the Great Old Ones.
To stop them, he must seek forbidden knowledge in libraries older than mankind, find the way to Celaeno, the Great Hall outside of time, and face an ancient creature able to travel between planes of existence.
Every discovery draws you closer to the truth… and loosens your grip on sanity.
Curse of Chaos is made by a small independent team. The campaign decides how far the curse spreads: more locations, more voices, more platforms. Backers secure their copy of the game and help bring it to life.

No. “Notify me on launch” is free and takes one click. You only need a free Kickstarter account, and you’ll get an email the moment the campaign goes live. There’s no pledge and no payment involved.
The demo covers the opening slice of the game. It introduces the protagonist, the setting of ancient Oman, and the first major investigative puzzles.
Planned for a 2027 release on Windows, Mac and Linux (including Steam Deck), via Steam. We hope to bring it to consoles later, but we’re focusing on PC perfection first.
The voice acting is in English. Text and subtitles are currently available in English, Italian and German.
Pressing “Notify me on launch” on Kickstarter is the most helpful thing you can do for an indie team: it’s free, takes one click, and helps our campaign get noticed. Adding the game to your Steam wishlist is the next best thing. Joining the subreddit and sharing your thoughts on the demo also helps us refine the game.
No. This is not crypto-related in any way. The Kickstarter campaign is only for funding the development of the game. There are no NFTs, no tokens, no blockchain, and no investment opportunities. You back a game, you receive a game, you play a game.
